Chevron

Chevron is a specific method of laying down of the flooring, in which laths are not cut at a right angle but at an angle of 45° or at an obtuse angle.

Conventionally, laths are cut at an angle of 45°. After laths are folded, an angle between them reaches 90° - this pattern is called chevron. There are also laths, which are cut at an 60° angle, which then are folded at an 120° angle - it is slightly softer version of the pattern and is called hungarian point.

Our company offers solid boards at any size from 300 up to 1000mm. It is important that all the laths are cut with so-called tongue. It means that our laths have tongue-and-groove joints, not only along the longer edges but also on the faces of the boards, which allows to joint them much more precisely than in the case of often found so-called tongue-in-groove.
We certainly offer Chevrons and Hungarian Points made of oak, ash and also thermo wood in almost all kinds of finishing - not only oiled but also UV varnished.
