Oak floorings

Sessile oak is a species of oak, decidous tree of the beech familly, found in Europe (except North Scandinavia) and South-East Asia. In Poland it is more common than pedunculate oak. Valued for its strong, hard and sustainable wood. It is a long-lived species which lives for over 700 years. Due to its impressive size, it gives a majestic impression and therefore plays an important role in the symbolism and formerly in religious cults. It is a symbol of longevity, dignity and strength. Old specimens are often protected as natural monuments.
