Descriptions of Oak Wood Classes

Cat. Natural (according to PN-EN 13226: ○): Wood with a relatively uniform natural color and various patterns.
Healthy pin knots with a diameter of up to 8 mm are allowed, rotten knots up to 1 mm in diameter. White is allowed on the left side and does not transfer to the wear layer. Surface and frontal cracks are not allowed. Features resulting from the natural biological structure of wood, such as lycowood rays or gloss, are permissible.

Cat. Standard (according to PN-EN 13226: △): Wood with a natural color and various patterns.
Healthy pin knots with a diameter of up to 10 mm are allowed, rotten knots up to 5 mm in diameter. White is allowed on the left side, extending to the wear layer, but not the facing layer. Surface cracks 1 mm deep, shallow front cracks allowed. Features resulting from the natural biological structure of wood, such as lycowood rays or gloss, are permissible.

Cat. Rustical (according to PN-EN 13226: □): Wood with various colors and patterns. Healthy knots and clusters of knots with a diameter of up to 25 mm are allowed. Sapwood and core allowed on the right side, surface cracks up to 1 mm deep. Shallow front cracks are allowed.
